Moosend Elementor Pro Addon

Thank you for downloading the Elementor Pro Moosend Addon plugin. We have some steps we need to do to get this working within your WordPress Elementor installation. Minimum requirements can be found here.

This only works with the additional Elementor Pro addon.

(We assume that you are familiar with setting up WordPress plugins and also Elementor)

Initial Setup #

  1. Install the plugin. (For help on plugin management and installations)
  2. You will need to get a Moosend API Token from here. (How to get the API Token)
  3. To set up the plugin, navigate to the Elementor Pro settings page. (Elementor/Settings). Then click on the “Integration tab.
  4. Scroll down to find the “Moosend Addon”
  1. Paste the API Token into the empty text box.
  2. Click on the “Validate API Key” button. This will contact Moosend and validate the API Token. If all is good, a message will appear confirming success.

Individual Form Setup #

Moosend requires the email address as a minimum requirement. One significant benefit of Moosend is that it supports custom fields for each list you create

  1. Before designing the form (or if adding to an existing form), click on the form for the “Edit Form” to appear on the left. You will need to be working on the “Contents” tab. Scroll down looking for the “Actions After Submit”. Click in the small box and you will see a list of actions. Scroll and select “Moosend”. Once this is complete, a section below called “Moosend” will appear.

  1. When you are creating or editing your form, you will need at least an “email” field to add to the form. In the “Moosend” section, you will select the list you want to add the contact to.
  2. Assuming you have added “Moosend” to the “Actions After Submit” in step 1, you will see the Moosend fields appear below the list selection. On the right-hand side, select the Elementor Pro form field you want to map to Moosend. The minimum requirement is to have email mapped. When you change the Moosend list, it will retrieve any custom fields from them to show below.

  1. Save and then add the form to your page/post as needed.
  2. As always, we recommend testing when logged in as admin. We will show any errors to admin users only under the form.
